Research Directions
Using in vitro and in vivo approaches our research focuses on:
1. The subcellular localization of soluble tubulin in health and disease.
2. Organization of nuclear envelope proteins in invasive cancer cells
3. The establishment of new markers for the characterization of circulating micrometastatic cells from cancer patients. In collaboration with the Laboratory of Biology of Cancer, (Dimitris Mavroudis), School of Medicine, University of Crete and the Department of Medical Oncology, University hospital of Heraklion (Vassilis Georgoulias).
